Happy Feet Starters

Today I was thinking that at all kids party I see the same boring appetizers ... Come on people...Let's have some fun and make our children happy... Don't even wait for a special reason to make your child happy...Just prepare this for him or her tomorrow!
I can tell you they will be ecstatic when they will see a plate filled with these playful little guys... Plus, as an advantage, I can guarantee they will eat their veggies and cheese like this :))

They are really fun to make... You can even ask your kid to assemble them, after you have cut all the parts and filled the olives with cream cheese.
So, here we go with the steps for making these little guys:

What you need:
- carrot sliced in rounds;
- olives ( buy them preferably without the pip. Today I couldn't find like that, so i had to take the pip out myself which made the process longer)
- cream cheese
- toothpicks
- a piping bag ( but you can use a small plastic bag to which you nip one corner - just like our grandmas used to make :) )

How to make it:

1. Cut the carrot in rounds and cut a piece of it like in the picture. Do not throw that little piece, since you will use it as the beak

2. Take the pips out of the olives with this special little tool, if you were unlucky not to find olives which are without the pips already
3. Cut a narrow slice into the olives just like this:
4. Fill the olive with cream cheese using the piping bag. t should look something like this:
5. Now, attach the cheese filled olive to the big piece of carrot so create the feet and body of the little penguin, just like this:

6. Take another olive without pip and push the small carrot piece that you cut earlier and put aside into the end which has a hole that looks like a little star and attach this olive to the body part pushing it through the toothpick. And here it is!!! You have your first little Happy Feet penguin... Enjoy it!
